As an employer, trustee, or payer of other amounts related to employment, you are responsible for deducting Canada Pension Plan (CPP) contributions, employment insurance premiums, and income tax from the remuneration or other amounts you pay to your employees. You must remit these amounts along with your employees' share of CPP contributions and EI premiums to the CRA according to your remitting requirements.
